Why do people think of buying carrots when they see a red hair ?

I was at the supermarket and as I passed by some people, one said absent mindedly "oh, I need carrots".

Sometimes it'orange juice, or batteries. Why batteries?

Do people with blonde or dark hair experience something similar ? I wonder.

I too am a redhead and while I'm here I just have to ask for the likes of princess, who by they way I just gave the thumbs down to your answer you sad cow, and now u've been removed hahaha! wot are peoples problems with redheads? I'm not a ginger I have dark red hair and highlights, yes the red is natural, the batteries by the way is because of Duracell, with the copper coloured top ;0D, I used to hate my hair thanx to people like princess but now I'm proud of my auburn locks. xxxxxx

I dont, I normally think how lucky they are as I love red hair. Mine is mousy so maybe people think of pest control spray when they see me.
