On some commercials like they sell shampoos that, boost your color in your hair, but they only make them for like Blonde brunette or rednead. Ever saw someone will long jet black hair thats naturl ? Awsome

Because in the color world, Black is not an interesting color by itself (I am not saying it's not pretty), it's just not "faceted" like reds, browns and blondes. There is so much more dimension in the above mentioned colors, so it really showcases all the tones of the color and the cut.

At all the trade shows, red hair color is "HOT", very popular,and always a new red being introduced. In the color world it's the hardest color to keep looking great, it's also the hardest color to remove.

I have black hair and I get highlights every now and then to break it up and add dimension.

But, black hair is in the brunette category, it's just a darker brunette.

And, yes Black hair IS Beautiful!

Hold on yall' don't get mad she didn't know. i've wondered that too, i just never thought to really ask. But still yu have a point. And from my understanding is because black hair is nappy. i'm black and not tryin to be mean but unless you have tracks get it hot combed or a permed, it's usually nappy. it's natural( well mine is). When advertising blond hair, etc. realize there hair can NATURALLY ( or without much effort) be that way! But ours is a lot more challenging. Hope my answer helps.

black has no tint to it. because if it did it would be brunette. so they focus on multi colors like tint and highlights, you cant do that with black hair. its gorgeous but it has nothing for them to build on. but honey black is beautiful and sexy. dont feel left out.

have you ever seen older women who color their hair black? black hair makes every wrinkel pop out and the person looks soooooooooo old. very few 'blacks' are natural hair;(not ppl;hair) and it has the blue undertone. this hair turn grey easily (once it starts; but usually when old) but it looks sleek naturally.
